Hi I’m Cara Masureik, Dot is my middle name. I started Dot Designs in 2017 and with a sprinkle of luck and a lot of hard work, my first client would become a repeat client for the next 5 years, where I focused on large-scale residential developments across South Africa. My current focus is still the residential market, but doing what I enjoy most, personally connecting with my clients and their homes, re-imagining their spaces together. 

I work in close collaboration with architects, builders, local craftsman and suppliers whilst overseeing all aspects of the project from start to finish to ensure that the concept is brought to life.  I have built a community of trustworthy tradesman, with a shared vision of delivering a high quality product, executed seamlessly. I love what I do and I know that I am lucky to be able to say that !

I am Dot Designs, it’s just me. Working with me is a unique experience compared to working with a studio as I am the only interface of the project – from concept through to completion. I fully invest my time and focus on you and your space and the client relationship becomes as important as the design outcome. With 15 years of industry experience, and 7 years running my own business I can confidently guide you along the design process.
